Ludwig Van Beethoven: String Quartet in A major, Op. 18, No. 5 – 30 minutes
The concert open with induvial moments for each member of the Atlantic String Quartet, with a set of solo works that exhibit their individual musical personalities. In the second half, they come together for Ludwig Van Beethoven’s String Quartet in A major, Op. 18, No. 5, a piece full of charm, quick turns, and a sense of conversation you only really get from Beethoven at his most playful.
