The concert opens with the heartfelt “Devotion” by contemporary composer Kati Agócs. This work, with its rich textures and poignant melodies, promises to touch the soul and stir the heart.
Next, enjoy Jean-Féry Rebel’s Les Éléments, a Baroque masterpiece that vividly portrays the creation of the world through a dramatic and dynamic musical narrative. Its bold depiction of the elements—earth, air, fire, and water—will leave you spellbound. This is followed by Vivaldi’s Sinfonia in B minor “Al santo sepolcro,” RV 169 a solemn and introspective work, evoking the reverence and mystery of the Holy Sepulchre with its rich harmonies and poignant melodies.
