Education And Outreach Program

Education and outreach is a key component of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra’s vision, The Symphony Goes to School… and Beyond! program allows the NSO connect with the community

This program offers in-person and virtual outreach initiatives that bring NSO musicians into schools and community programs, as well as bringing those school and community groups to concerts and activities hosted by the NSO.

On top of these outreach initiatives, The Symphony Goes to School… and Beyond! provides an extensive library of free learning materials and classroom resources for educators to use with students and learners of all grade levels. Among these learning materials, educators will find a large library of instrumental and vocal arrangements for soloists and ensembles, listening activities, lesson plans, activity sheets, videos, and curriculum outcome documents.
