Welcome to a new season with the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra and my inaugural year as Music Director. I am thrilled to lead my colleagues into this new chapter of their artistic life. With deep gratitude, I thank Maestro Marc David for his extraordinary leadership over the past 33 years. I also welcome Martin MacDonald as the NSO’s Principal Pops Conductor!
This season, co-designed by Maestro David and myself, we invite you on a journey that celebrates the familiar and the new—cherished masterworks alongside bold, contemporary voices—guided by a remarkable array of world-class guest artists.
Our aim is to share the power and beauty of what we do with everyone, no matter your age, background, or previous experience with orchestral music. Whether you’re a longtime patron or discovering us for the very first time, you are truly welcome! See you at the concerts!
