Presented by Kittiwake Dance Theatre

7:30 PM | Majestic Theatre | 03.28.2024

Kittiwake is pleased to partner once again with the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra in a concert that profiles the artistry of emerging choreographers and conductors.

Join us at the newly-renovated Majestic Theatre in St. John’s for the premiere of Limerance by Cassidy Boone, the 2023-24 RBC-Kittiwake emerging choreographer-in-residence, which will be performed by members of the NSO and conducted by this year’s RBC-NSO emerging conductor, Andrei Popkov.

Also on the program is Cara Alida by Hannah Drover and conducted by Kerri MacPhee and Appalachian Spring by Abby Rowe and conducted by Murray Lefebvre, all four of whom are former RBC emerging artists.

We are thrilled that Canada’s preeminent chamber duo,  Duo Concertante will make a special guest appearance for the concert.

We are grateful for the support from RBC in the production of this concert.

Please note this event is by Kittiwake Dance Theatre. This event is not part of any NSO subscription and is sold independently from the NSO.
