Dear Friends of the NSO,

Welcome to our 2023/2024 artistic season! We are delighted to once again offer you an outstanding selection of events ranging from classical concerts with great masterpieces of orchestral repertoire, choral favourites, chamber music, to Pops and Family productions.

Our wonderful roster of artists will include the talented Grand Prize winner of the Canadian Music Competition, international Mexican/Spanish guest conductor Juan Carlos Lomonaco, renowned American pianist Sara Davis Buechner and brilliant Newfoundland artists such as violinist Mark Fewer, tenors David Pomeroy and Jonathan Monro, vocalist Kelly-Ann Evans as well as our own Atlantic String Quartet.

Mozart’s Great G Minor Symphony, Handel’s Messiah, Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G, Stravinsky’s Firebird Ballet Suite and Beethoven’s grandiose 9th Symphony are amongst the outstanding works you will have the pleasure of experiencing “In concert!”.

This is my personal invitation to you to connect with us this season, my last full concert year with the NSO. By joining us, I envision you enjoying excellent renditions of the music you love performed by artists you value.

I look forward to seeing you soon!

Marc
